"They dont make them like they used to"

Hi-Fi audio equipment from the golden era looks, sounds and was built like no other. To this day, many continue to be used in their original, not restored state, this is truly a testament to their quality. However, gear from this time period is now on average 45+ years. After such a long period of time and use, many things have happened to electronic devices and the electronic components in them.
For starters, All original electrolytic capacitors inside the vintage Hi-Fi audio equipment are past their life expectancy and need to be replaced. Resistors can drift from value way past their tolerance. Switches, relays and potentiometers can stop working due to corrosion. The thermal paste dries up, transistors can become noisy or fail. Bias, DC offset and other factory adjustments will be out of spec. This is just to name a few problems that can occur but not all hope is lost...

"com·pre·hen·sive
res·to·ra·tion"

Many of our clients have unfortunately been thru a situation where they state "I bought or had my gear serviced, recapped, or repaired less than a month ago and its having problems".

A vintage Hi-Fi audio equipment that is 45+ years of age, is past a simple "service", "recap", or "repair". While other shops might perform just that, it is truly a disservice to their client and equipment. We want our clients to have the absolute best experience with their vintage gear whether it's their first time experience or if they want to re-discover their units. We have developed our signature comprehensive restoration for just that purpose.
"We can rebuild it. we have the technology, better, faster, stronger"

Since the time these vintage pieces were built, major advances have been made in capacitors, resistors, transistors, and other electronic component design. Performing a comprehensive restoration, improves the classic circuits in your unit with new, better built parts and Audiophile grade components. This provides a substantial upgrade not only in performance and reliability but also in sound.
Manufacturer model specific service bulletins are also carried out and any known issues from many years experience working on these units are addressed.
